1. What video formats do we cover as a video production company?
In the field of video production, we offer a wide range of possible video formats. Below is a list:
- TV Spot
- Image Film
- Product Video
- Explainer Video
- Recruiting Video
- Social Media Video
- Event Film / Show Film
Especially in the field of advertising, choosing the right video format can be a challenge. We’ll be happy to work with you to find out which type of video is right for you.
2. Does a consultation take place?
Of course, you will receive comprehensive advice from us – throughout the entire production process. As a full-service agency, we will continue to advise you on the successful placement of your film even after it has been made and, if you wish, we will also take care of the successful marketing of your video.
3. Is the initial consultation free of charge?
Of course. In the first meeting we would like to get to know you as a customer and your project and we would like to do this in a detailed personal or telephone conversation. There are no costs for you – neither in the case of an order nor in the case of a non-conclusion of a cooperation. So you can contact us without any obligation and get first information. We will be happy to listen to your ideas and conceptions.
4. What do I already need to bring with me?
As a video production company, we pick you up where you are, advise you in detail and develop a suitable solution together with you. So if you don’t yet have a precise idea of your project, objective or group, that’s of course perfectly fine: that’s what we’re here for, and in that respect you don’t necessarily have to have anything ready. We look forward to working with you to find and develop the optimal concept for your video.
5. Use your own staff or actors?
This varies from case to case and depends largely on the choice of video type. For an image film, for example, it is often advisable to ask employees from your own ranks to stand in front of the camera, as they are familiar with the company and its work processes. The inclusion of employees can also contribute greatly to the authenticity of the image film through interviews and original sounds. Of course, no one is forced to do this and, alternatively, actors can be hired who can then be familiarized with the subject matter and, if necessary, the voice-over.
6. How does a professional video production work?
In an initial meeting, we as a video production company would like to get to know you and your project better. Here we would like to learn as much as possible about your request and discuss if necessary also already existing ideas and approaches. If there is no clear idea yet, we will take care of all further steps.
In the next phase, if necessary, we use mood boards to show you possible styles and implementation options that fit your objective and provide a possible direction. We then develop an audiovisual concept tailored to this, which we naturally coordinate with you in detail. If you wish, we can create a storyboard (visual script) for you in the next step, which depicts the existing concept frame by frame and thus provides you with a clear idea of the final result. The final elaborated framework immediately provides the starting signal for the planning and organization of the upcoming production:
In consultation with you, we take care of the locations, the actors, the filming equipment and clarify all legal issues. Once this phase has been completed, it’s time for production: Here we get down to business and shoot the desired video – scene by scene – or, in the case of an animation, create it digitally. If you wish, you can also participate in the production and follow the shooting.
Now follows the post-production. In this phase, your video will be cut and digitally post-edited to the final version. You will receive several cut versions from us and thus also the possibility of incorporating change requests. In the first version, we try to come as close as possible to your desired objective. However, experience has shown that during the process there is often a need for minor course corrections. Since we are just as interested in a great end result as you are, we are happy to make adjustments here and there. You will usually receive the final video file from us as .mp4 or .mov, but we will also be happy to provide you with the video in all other required formats.
7. How many adjustment options / correction rounds do i have?
We want you to be fully satisfied with the final result. That’s why we make minor corrections free of charge. However, since we always keep you informed throughout the process, such needs are rare. Most often, they are these two common correction loops: The first usually involves adjustments according to your feedback on the structure of the video (rough cut), and in the second round (fine cut) we take care of the most beautiful details.
8. What are the costs of video production?
The cost of video production varies from project to project and depends on a whole host of factors. To give a few examples:
- Will be shot on one or more locations.
- Duration of the shoot and size of the crew required
- Number and length of video(s) produced
- complexity of the video (content and style)
- are assets already available or do they need to be created by us first
- 2D, 3D, hybrid, or live-action film
But don’t worry: we’ll go through all the relevant cost points with you and provide you with a transparent calculation that fits your budget.
9. How long does it take to make a video?
The duration depends on the type and scope of the video as well as on the customer and the various circumstances. Experience shows that the creation of an image film takes about 2-4 weeks. However, this period can also vary significantly and ultimately results from the respective availabilities and framework conditions under which the production takes place. For example, it sometimes happens that a shoot can only take place in a company when nothing is being produced at the moment (volume) or post-production work is postponed because it is necessary to wait for additional work or feedback. Nevertheless, a time frame can be agreed upon, not least through detailed planning and communication, and this can usually be adhered to.
10. How do I use my finished film correctly?
Most customers want to use created videos as a profitable marketing tool. Here, the question of the right placement is crucial so that the video receives the greatest possible attention and reaches its target group in the best possible way. As a full-service agency, we are happy to support you on this path and ensure the successful marketing of your videos: After all, your success is our goal.
